CfA: Summer School 2021 "Europe and the (Post) COVID-19 World"
The key objective of the Online Summer University 2021 is to analyse from various perspectives the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on international relations and Europe's prospects in a time of global socio-political change. What effects has the pandemic had on the EU? Can Europe still be seen as an essential pillar of (liberal) democracy and multilateralism? How have COVID-19 and recent political events influenced the transatlantic relationship? What are the practical implications of the pandemic for EU climate change? How will COVID-19 influence the politics of the U.S. and China? What are the implications of the pandemic for gender equity and technological progress?
